Elite Fitness currently has 20 stores around the country, a commercial sales division and New Zealand's largest fitness equipment service department. And when Elite Fitness wanted to improve the company's business information systems and develop them for a future of growth, Finance Manager Helen Carter turned to Enprise to help take the business forward.

"To be honest no other company stood a chance really because Enprise staff were so proactive - but not pushy - in telling us how they could help and actively demonstrating the impact customised modules had made for other clients," says Helen.
Just as important, says Helen, was the set of values - including integrity and understanding - Enprise staff work by and the high level of support on offer. "During those initial stages I got to know enough of the people at Enprise to realise those values are upheld across the whole company. For me trust and integrity are the most important aspect of a business relationship and I always feel that Enprise are honest and fair in their dealings with us."

Helen says the service and hire modules have been a huge success and mean that Elite Fitness now has a more end-to-end business model than some of its competitors. "We've made great efficiencies in our business from the modules we've installed and through others that have been enhanced. This also means our systems are more sturdy. We've made some big changes to our retail interface so our sales people are now dealing with a more user-friendly application," she says.
Because Enprise staff took the time to really understand how Elite Fitness operates, Helen says the customisation was a very intuitive process. "It's a very down to earth relationship, which I really appreciate. Enprise operates with strong values and backs that up with an intelligent, experienced and skilled team that has worked hard to gets its head around our business."
Given the complexities of Elite Fitness' enterprise software, Helen says the support services Enprise provides are invaluable. "I also really like the information days that showcase new enhancements as well as the breadth of training Enprise offers. It's a great way to meet other clients and get an insight into their experiences."
As far as Helen is concerned, partnering with Enprise was an excellent decision. "I really like the Enprise model. The staff are proactive and are always thinking ahead for us. On top of that they're supportive of where we want to go and are quick to understand - plus they're a great bunch of people to deal with."
